Gospel  Luke 1:26-38

The angel Gabriel was sent from God
to a town of Galilee called Nazareth,
to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph,
of the house of David,
and the virgin’s name was Mary.
And coming to her, he said,
“Hail, full of grace! The Lord is with you.” 
But she was greatly troubled at what ̧was said
and pondered what sort of greeting this might be. Then the angel said to her,
“Do not be afraid, Mary,
for you have found favor with God.  “Behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son,
and you shall name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High,
and the Lord God will give him the throne of David his father,
and he will rule over the house of Jacob forever,
and of his kingdom there will be no end.” 

But Mary said to the angel,
“How can this be,
since I have no relations with a man?” 
And the angel said to her in reply,
“The Holy Spirit will come upon you,
and the power of the Most High will overshadow you.
Therefore the child to be born
will be called holy, the Son of God.”
And behold, Elizabeth, your relative,
has also conceived a son in her old age,
and this is the sixth month for her who was called barren;
for nothing will be impossible for God. Mary said, “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord.
May it be done to me according to your word.” Then the angel departed from her.

 Nywè â chaysǝ andzɛ̀rǝ̀ yi Gabriyà a fǝ nǝkwurǝ nǝ Nazarètə fǝfǝ ala’a Galìli, a mbwo mǝngònǝ̀ mǝngye tsǝ̀ ma ŋù tsǝ̀ ma ǝ̀lwenǝ̀ yi bǝ Yòsebǝ̀ moo Dàvitǝ̀ â kû wu tyǝ. Ə̀lwenǝ̀ mǝngonǝ̀ mǝ̀ngye wi bǝ Màriyà. Andzɛ̀rǝ̀ wi yìi nswiŋǝ a mbwo Mariyà ngǝ, “Mǝ ntsɛ’ɛtǝ wwo, ò luu nǝ̀ grashà, Nywè a dzwi nǝ̀ wwo”
Màriyà a mbo susu mǝzu’unǝ abòŋnǝ̀ zi, nti’i nyɛ̀’ɛtǝ̀ nwi’itǝ ntiŋǝ zhǝ ngǝ zǐ ǝ̀tsɛ̀’ɛ̀tǝ̀ dǝ li ngǝ kǝ̀ lǝ .
Andzɛ̀rə̀ wi ti’ì nswiŋǝ a mbwo zhǝ ngǝ “Màriyà, kǝ nǝ bo, mbǝ’ǝma Nywè à koŋǝ wwo susu.” Linǝ̌, ò bǝ̂ tu’unǝ ǝ jwe moo mǝ̀mbaŋnǝ̌ ǝ chwe alwenǝ̀ yi nǝ Yesù.  A bǝ̂ bǝ ŋu ngwe, bǝ toŋǝ yi nǝ Moo Ətàa wu ma à gha’a nchya bǝ bǝtsǝ̀mǝ̀. A bǝ nunǝ linǝ̀ achǝ ndyâ Yakobǝ̀ aghǝ̀mǝ̀ ntsǝ̀mǝ̀, a ala’a nǝfònǝ̀ zhi lyǝ kàkǝ mye ._

Màriyà a swiŋǝ a mbwo andzɛ̀rǝ̀ wi ŋgǝ, “A bǝ dwi li la ma mǝ bikàkǝ mǝmbaŋnǝ̀ zhi li?”
Andzɛ̀rǝ̀ a kwe a mbwo zhǝ ngǝ, “Azhwè zǝ Nwà’anǝ bǝ tso nnu wwò, a mǝ̀tenǝ̀ mǝ Ətàa wu ma à gha’a ncya bǝ bǝtsǝ̀mǝ̀ shwi’i nkwusǝ wwo.
Əlya, bǝ̂ bǝ toŋǝ moo wu ma ò bǝ jwe nǝ Ŋwà’anǝ̀, Moo Nywè. “Zǝ, ndǝ̀mǝ wwò Alisabenǝ̀ a tu’unǝ moo nǝlwenǝ zhǝ, li tɛ̂ mbǝ bǝŋorǝ bi ntuu la ma bǝ̂ kǝ toŋǝ yi nǝ dòŋǝ̀. Boŋǝ anyu daŋǝ kakǝ Nywe chya.”
Màriyà swiŋǝ ngǝ, ” Linǝ, mǝ̀ mbǝ ŋù fa’a Nywè .
A dzwi nǝ mwò tsuŋ ma ò swiŋǝ.”
Andzɛ̀rǝ̀ ti’ì mɛ’ɛtǝ yɛ.

and the virgin’s name was Mary. Nywe â chaysǝ andzɛ̀rǝ̀ yi Gabriya a fǝfǝ nǝkwurǝ nǝ Nazareth fǝ ala’a Galili , mbwo mǝngònǝ̀ mǝngye tsǝ̀ ma ŋù tsǝ̀ ma ǝ̀lwenǝ̀ yi bǝ Yosebǝ moo Davitǝ̀ â kû wu tyǝ . Əlwenǝ̀ mǝngonǝ̀ mǝngye wi bǝ Màriyà .

And coming to her, he said,
“Hail, full of grace! The Lord is with you.” Andzɛ̀rǝ̀ wi yii nswiŋǝ a mbwo Mariyà ngǝ , “Mǝ ntsɛ’ɛtǝ wwo , ò luu nǝ̀ grashà , Nywè a dzwi nǝ̀ wwo” .

Then the angel said to her,
