Below is a table showing the different noun prefixes in Nkwen Language. There are nine (9) noun classes following the noun prefixes. The prefixes in class one (1) are made up of the nasals (m, n). It should be noted that classes 2, 5 and 7 are plural classes while the rest are singular. Thus, class seven (7) is different from class (3) three which is a singular class, though they both bear the prefix ǝ̀. The last class (9) has no noun prefix.
