because you rule the peoples in equity;

Gospel – Luke 2:16-21

¹⁶ The shepherds went in haste to Bethlehem and found Mary and Joseph, and the infant lying in the manger.

¹⁷ When they saw this, they made known the message that had been told them about this child.

¹⁸ All who heard it were amazed by what had been told them by the shepherds.

¹⁹ And Mary kept all these things, reflecting on them in her heart.

²⁰ Then the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, just as it had been told to them.

²¹ When eight days were completed for his circumcision, he was named Jesus, the name given him by the angel before he was conceived in the womb.

17 And seeing, they understood of the word that had been spoken to them concerning this child. Ma bwo zǝ la nti’i nlanǝ nzhi anyù zu ma andzɛ̀rǝ̀ bi nswiŋǝ mbwo bwo mbǝ’ǝ Moo wu la.

18 And all that heard, wondered; and at those things that were told them by the shepherds. Ŋù ntsǝ̀̀mǝ̀ ti’i nyɛ’ɛ ntsù yi ma bwo zu’u anyù zu ma bǝ̀tsì bǝ nna bǐ swiŋǝ,

19 But Mary kept all these words, ̃pondering them in her heart. la Màriyà a liŋǝ mǝ̀nyù mi mǝtsǝ̀mǝ̀ mǝmǝ̀ ntiŋǝ zhǝ mbonǝ nkwa’àtǝ̌.

20 And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God, for all the things they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them. Bǝ̀tsì bǝ nna bya ti’i mbu nkwi ghǝ̌ wwa nyii nghù’usǝ Nywe nkǝ nfyâ nlwenǝ̀ ghwe a mbwo zhə mbǝ’ǝ mǝnyù mǝ̀tsǝmǝ̀ ma bwo zu’u nkǝ nzǝ ma mǝ dzwi tsuŋǝ mbǝ zu ma bǝ ̂ swiŋǝ nǝ̀ bwo la.

21 And after eight days were accomplished, that the child should be circumcised, his name was called JESUS, which was called by the angel, before he was conceived in the womb.
