The purpose of this page is according to –

“1 The proverbs of Solomon son of David, king of Israel:

for gaining wisdom and instruction;
for understanding words of insight;
for receiving instruction in prudent behavior,
doing what is right and just and fair;
for giving prudence to those who are simple,
knowledge and discretion to the young—
let the wise listen and add to their learning,
and let the discerning get guidance—
for understanding proverbs and parables,
the sayings and riddles of the wise.”

August Thirty-first

"The plans of the righteous are just, but the advice of the wicked is deceitful." Prov.12:5

August Thirtieth

"In the way of righteousness there is life; along that path is immortality."  Prov.12:28

"The desire of the righteous ends only in good, but the hope of the wicked only in wrath." Prov.11:23

"The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy."  Prov.12:22

August Nineteenth

"No harm overtakes the righteous, but the wicked have their fill of trouble."  Prov.12:21

August Eighteenth

"Deceit is in the hearts of those who plot evil, but those who promote peace have joy."  Prov.12:20

"Truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue lasts only a moment. Prov.12:19

"The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing."  Prov.12:18

"An honest witness tells the truth, but a false witness tells lies."  Prov.12:17

"Fools show their annoyance at once, but the prudent overlook an insult."  Prov.12:16

"The way of fools seems right to them but the wise listen to advice."  Prov.12:15

"Evildoers are trapped by their sinful talk, and so the innocent escape trouble." Prov.12:13

"The wicked desire the stronghold of evildoers, but the root of the righteous endures."  Prov.12:12

"Those who work their land will have abundant food, but those who chase fantasies have no sense."  Prov.12:11

August Eighth

"The righteous care for the needs of their animals, but the kindest acts of the wicked are cruel."  Prov.12:10

"Better to be a nobody and yet have a servant than pretend to be somebody and have no food."  Prov.12:9

"A person is praised according to their prudence, and one with a warped mind is despised." Prov.12:8

"The words of the wicked lie in wait for blood, but the speech of the upright rescues them." Prov.12:6
