Mark 14:1-15:47
14:1 It was two days before the Passover and the festival of Unleavened Bread. The chief priests and the scribes were looking for a way to arrest Jesus by stealth and kill him; A brǝ njwe bya za’a njwe nghwe Paska ma nkǝ mbǝ jwe jye ǝbanǝ la boŋǝ kù’u. 14:3 While he was at Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at the table, a woman came with an alabaster jar of very costly ointment of nard, and she broke open the jar and poured the ointment on his head. 14:4 But some were there who said to one another in anger, “Why was the ointment wasted in this way? La bǝ̀ bâtsǝ dzwi wu swiŋǝ atǝ̂tǝ̀ bwo nǝ àshwe ntoŋǝ ngǝ, “Bǝ busǝ mǝ̀wurǝ mii mbǝ̀ wi li ngǝ kǝ̀?”

14:5 For this ointment could have been sold for more than three hundred denarii, and the money given to the poor.” And they scolded her. Boŋǝ bǝ fyânǝ̀ mǝ̀wurǝ mǐ nǝ tǝkò’ò nkabǝ(mǝ chya bǝ̀dinari nkɛrǝ̀ tarǝ) ma boŋǝ bǝ fya mbwo ngaŋǝ fǝmǝ̀.” Bwo ti’i nsa’a(nshwesǝ ntoŋǝ nu) mǝ̀ngyê wwa.

14:6 But Jesus said, “Let her alone; why do you trouble her? She has performed a good service for me. Yesù swiŋǝ ngǝ, Mɛ̀’ɛ̀tǝnǝ̀ yɛ; bǔ fya ngǝ’ǝ mbwo zhǝ li ngǝ kǝ̀? à fà’a àfa’a nshi’ìnǝ̀ a mbwo mwò.”

14:7 For you always have the poor with you, and you can show kindness to them whenever you wish; but you will not always have me. Bǔ bǝ̀ ngaŋǝ fǝmǝ dzwi aghǝ̀mǝ̀ ntsǝ̀mǝ̀, boŋǝ bǔ ghǝrǝ̀ ǝ̀bòŋǝ a mbwo bwo aghǝ̀mǝ̀ ntsǝ̀mǝ̀ ma nǝ̀ koŋǝ; La mǝ̀ bǝ̌ kàkǝ nǝ bǔ aghǝ̀mǝ̀ nstǝ̀mǝ̀ dzwi.”

14:8 She has done what she could; she has anointed my body beforehand for its burial. À ghǝrǝ ànyù zu ma boŋǝ a ghǝrǝ̀; a zò’o nnu zà nlɛrǝ mǝ twiŋnǝ̀.

14:14 and wherever he enters, say to the owner of the house, ‘The Teacher asks, Where is my guest room where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?’ Ǹdyâ zu ma à ku wu, nǝ̀ swiŋǝ a mbwo ǹgaŋǝ̀ ndyâ ngǝ. ‘Ətàa biŋsǝ ngǝ, Àdi’ì ŋu ghanǝ fǝ ma mǝ̀ mbǝ jyǝ mǝjye mǝ Paska bi bǝ̀ ǹgaŋǝ ndzǝ̀mǝ̀ jwa?’

14:15 He will show you a large room upstairs, furnished and ready. Make preparations for us there.” À bǝ̌ dǝ̀sǝ adi’i mǝmǝ̀ ndyâ kò’ònǝ̌ ma be lanǝ nyesǝ̀ nǝ ǝdzuŋǝ ǝ ku’unǝ. Bùu lɛ̂rǝ̀ ǝ̀dzuŋǝ ntsǝ̀mǝ̀ wu a mbwo binǝ̀.

14:17 When it was evening, he came with the twelve. Ma fǝ̀’ǝ̀ nkwîfò a ku’u la, a ti’i yìi wu bwo bǝ̀ ǹgaŋǝ-kù jwi nchǝ̀ bya.

14:18 And when they had taken their places and were eating, Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, one of you will betray me, one who is eating with me.” Ma bwo dzwi mǝjyǝ la, Yesù swiŋǝ ngǝ, “Nǝ nko’onyù mǝ̀ swiŋǝ mbwo bù ngǝ ŋù wî mò’o a tǝtǝ̌ bù bǝ̌ fyǎnǝ̀ wa, ŋù ma bǐ zhǝ jyǝ.”

14:19 They began to be distressed and to say to him one after another, “Surely, not I?” Anyù zu ghasǝ̀ wwa bwo ti’i nswiŋǝ a mbwo zhǝ mò’o mò’ò ngǝ, “Ye’ǝ, kǝ bǝ mwò bǝ.”

14:20 He said to them, “It is one of the twelve, one who is dipping bread into the bowl with me. Yesù swiŋǝ nǝ̀ bwo ngǝ, À bǝ ŋù wî mò’ò a tǝtǝ̌ bù nchǝ̀-bya, ŋù wu ma bǐ zhǝ jyǝ mǝmǝ̀ ǝ̀kaŋǝ mo’o.

14:21 For the Son of Man goes as it is written of him, but woe to that one by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been better for that one not to have been born. Moo Ŋù bǝ̂ ghǝ̀ tsuŋǝ ma bǝ ŋwa’arǝ mbǝ’ǝ yɛ, la ndonǝ̀ dzwi atyǝ ŋù wu ma à bǝ fyânǝ yɛ. À kǝ̀ bǐ mbòŋǝ̀ bǝ ngǝ bǝ kǝ yi nǝ jwe.

14:22 While they were eating, he took a loaf of bread, and after blessing it he broke it, gave it to them, and said, “Take; this is my body.” Ma bwo dzwi mǝjye la, a lô ǝ̀banǝ̀, mfwô nti’i mbǝ’ǝ nfyâ nǝ bwo nswiŋǝ ngǝ, “ku nǝ; li bǝ̌ mbǝŋǝ̀ nnu zha”

14:23 Then he took a cup, and after giving thanks he gave it to them, and all of them drank from it. A ti’ì nkǝ nlo nfoŋǝ ntaŋǝ ndzuŋǝ wu nti’i nfyâ bwo bǝtsǝ̀mǝ̀ nye nǝ wu.

14:24 He said to them, “This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many. A swiŋǝ nǝ̀ bwo ngǝ, li bǝ ǝ̀liŋǝ̀ za fǝfǝ mǝmǝ̀ ǝkanǝ̀, Ma bǝ̌ kwri mbǝ’ǝ bǝ bâ nǝ̀nǝ̌ .

14:25 Truly I tell you, I will never again drink of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God.” “Nǝ ǹko’onyù mǝ̀ swiŋǝ a mbwo bù ngǝ mǝ̀ bǝ kàkǝ̌ mǝlu’u bǔ nye titi njwe zu ma mǝ̀ mbǝ lyǝ nyǝ mǝlù’ù mâ mfyi ala’a nǝfònǝ Nywe.”

14:26 When they had sung the hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives. Bwo mǐtǝ mà’a ndzàŋǝ̀ nti’i nfuu nghǝ atyǝ̂ Mbâ Olifsǝ̀ .

14:27 And Jesus said to them, “You will all become deserters; for it is written, ‘I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.’ Yesù ti’i nswiŋǝ a mbwo bwo ngǝ, “Bù bǝ̌ khǝ̌ mɛ̀’ɛ̀ wa; mbǝ’ǝma bǝ ŋwa’arǝ ngǝ, ‘Mǝ mbǝ kwenǝ ntsi-mbyî mbyî khǝkǝ̂.’

14:28 But after I am raised up, I will go before you to Galilee.” La bǝ lya mbǝŋsǝ wa nǝwwo boŋǝ mǝ̀ mbǝ kwɛ mbì zu ghǝ̀ fǝfǝ Galìli .”

14:29 Peter said to him, “Even though all become deserters, I will not. “Bità swiŋǝ nǝ̀ zhǝ ngǝ boŋǝ ŋù ntsǝmǝ̀ khǝ wwo, boŋǝ mǝ̀ kàkǝ khǝ̀.”

14:30 Jesus said to him, “Truly I tell you, this day, this very night, before the cock crows twice, you will deny me three times.” Yesù swiŋǝ nǝ̀ zhǝ ngǝ, “Nǝ nko’onyù mǝ̀ swiŋǝ nǝ̀ wwo ngǝ, a senǝ wì, atu’umbyi nǝtwu’ù sǝnǝ, za’a nkǝ’ǝ toŋǝ ngà bya ò bǝ̌ kì wa ngà tarǝ.”

14:31 But he said vehemently, “Even though I must die with you, I will not deny you.” And all of them said the same. A bû nki nǝtenǝ̀ nswiŋǝ ngǝ , “Boŋǝ mǝ̀ bǐ ndzwi bǝ mǝ kwonǝ̀ bi wwò boŋǝ mǝ̀ kàkǝ wwo kì.” Bwo bǝtsǝ̀mǝ̀ kǝ̂ nswiŋǝ tsɛ’ɛ̀ lya.

14:32 They went to a place called Gethsemane; and he said to his disciples, “Sit here while I pray.” Bwo ghǝ adi’i tsǝ ma bǝ̂ kǝ toŋǝ nǝ Gatsemeni, a ti’i nswiŋǝ ambwo ngaŋǝ-kù dzwi ngǝ, “Nunǝ nǝ̀ fǐ mǝ̂ ntaŋǝ ndzuŋǝ.”

14:33 He took with him Peter and James and John, and began to be distressed and agitated. Â lô Bità bwo Dzemsǝ̀ nǝ Dzonǝ̀ ǹtiŋǝ̀ yi ti’ì nluu nǝ mǝ̀liŋnǝ̀ a ti’i nzhitǝ mǝ chi’inǝnǝ̀.

14:34 And said to them, “I am deeply grieved, even to death; remain here, and keep awake.” Â ti’ì nswiŋǝ a mbwo zhǝ ngǝ, “Ntiŋǝ̀ wa luu nǝ̀ mǝ̀liŋnǝ̀ titi ma boŋǝ mǝ̀ nkwo. A bǔ nunǝ fî nlinǝ wa.“

14:35 And going a little farther, he threw himself on the ground and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him. Â ti’ì nghǝtǝ nshi nǝshi nwwo nshye ntaŋǝ ndzuŋǝ ngǝ boŋǝ Nduŋǝ dzwi, â fǝ̀’ǝ̀ wi chya mɛ̀’ɛ̀tǝ wa.

14:36 He said, “Abba, Father, for you all things are possible; remove this cup from me; yet, not what I want, but what you want.” Â swiŋǝ ngǝ, “Ətàa Wà, mǝnyù mǝtsǝmǝ̀ dzwi chya nshi’ìnǝ̀ mbwo wwò, fusǝ nfoŋǝ wi a mbwo mwo; la, a kakǝ mbǝ zu ma mǝ nswa’a nǝ bǝ, â dzwi mbǝ̀ zu ma o swà’a.

14:37 He came and found them sleeping; and he said to Peter, “Simon, are you asleep? Could you not keep awake one hour? A bû nyìi nzǝ ma bwo lyǝ, nti’i nswiŋǝ a mbwo Bità ngǝ, Shimunǝ̀, o lye? Boŋǝ ò kàkǝ̌ nunǝ̀ tǝ̌ nlye nǝ ta’à â?

14:38 Keep awake and pray that you may not come into the time of trial; the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” “Kǝ bǝ lye ntaŋǝ ndzùŋǝ̀ ngǝ ò kǝ mǝmǝ ǝbwu nǝ wwǒ; ntiŋǝ tǝ̌sǝ koŋǝ la nnu borǝkǝ̀.”

14:39 And again he went away and prayed, saying the same words. A kǝ̂ bitǝ mbu nghǝ ntaŋǝ ndzuŋǝ tsuŋǝ ma à bǐ ntaŋǝ nchyǎmbì la.

14:40 And once more he came and found them sleeping, for their eyes were very heavy; and they did not know what to say to him. A bǔ nyìi nzǝ ma a lyǝ, la mbǝ̀’ǝ̀ma fǝ̀lye dzwi mmi bwo susu, bwo kàkǝ nǝ anyu daŋǝ dzwi mǝ swiŋnǝ̀ a mbwo zhǝ.

14:41 He came a third time and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and taking your rest? Enough! The hour has come; the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. A bû nyìi nǝ ngâ tarǝ nswiŋǝ mbwo mbwo ngǝ, “Bǔ brǝ nlyǝ mmiŋtǝ̂ wwu? Â ku’unǝ̂. Fǝ̀’ǝ̀ kù’u mǝ ngǝ bǝ̂ fyênǝ Moo Ŋù a mbwo bǝ̀ bǝ tǝbòŋǝ̀.

14:42 Get up, let us be going. See, my betrayer is at hand.” “Bǝ̀ŋnǝ nǝ̀ a binǝ̀ nghǝ. Zǝ ǹfyênǝ̀ wa dzwi mbwo.“

14:43 Immediately, while he was still speaking, Judas, one of the twelve, arrived; and with him there was a crowd with swords and clubs, from the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders. Mâ a kǝ brǝ mboŋnǝ la, Dzudasǝ̀ mâ bǝ ŋu wî mò’o mǝmǝ bwo chè byala ,a kǝ mbi nyìi , bwo bǝ nno bǝ ma bwo bi’inǝ̀ nnywe bwo bǝ mǝ̀koŋǝ , ma bǝ̀ fara bǎ nghwe bwo bǝ̀ ngaŋǝ ntǝ̀ǝ nǝ bǝ̀ bâ nghwe chyasǝ.

14:44 Now the betrayer had given them a sign, saying, “The one I will kiss is the man; arrest him and lead him away under guard.” Dzudà mâ fyênǝ yi la tɛ̌ nfya alensǝ̀ ambwo bwo ngǝ , “Ŋù wuma mǝ̀ bǝ̌ chwesǝ lya zhǝ , kunǝ̀ yi , ngaŋǝ nshi’ìnǝ̀ , nghǝ nǝ zhǝ .”

14:45 So when he came, he went up to him at once and said, “Rabbi!” and kissed him. A yi ku’u nu bwo nkǝ mbi nchya nghǝ nǝbenǝ Yesù nstsɛ’ɛtǝ yi ngǝ, “Rabayi” nti’i nchwesǝ yɛ.

14:46 Then they laid hands on him and arrested him. Bǝ̂ kǝ̀ mbi ma’a mbwo nnu zhǝ nko yɛ.

14:47 But one of those who stood near drew his sword and struck the slave of the high priest, cutting off his ear. Ŋù nǝ̀ wwa wî mò’o fusǝ nnywe zhi nkǝ’ǝ abu’u nfò nghwè ntswa atugǝ̀rǝ zhi.

14:48 Then Jesus said to them, “Have you come out with swords and clubs to arrest me as though I were a bandit? Yesù swiŋǝ nǝ bwo ngǝ, “Bù yìi nǝ nnywe nǝ mǝtyì mǝ kônǝ̀ wwa tsuŋǝ ma mǝ̀ mbǝ bǝ nzɛrǝ?

14:49 Day after day I was with you in the temple teaching, and you did not arrest me. But let the scriptures be fulfilled.” Binǝ kǝ dzwi njwe ntsǝ̀mǝ̀ mǝmǝ ndyâ-nywè nghwe nǝ̀ kàkǝ wa ko. La mɛ̀’ɛ̀tǝ ànyù zu ma Àŋwà’àrǝ Ŋwà’ànǝ̀ swiŋǝ a dzwi.“

14:50 All of them deserted him and fled. Bwo bǝtsǝ̀mǝ̀ ti’i mɛ’ɛ yi nkhǝ

14:51 A certain young man was following him, wearing nothing but a linen cloth. They caught hold of him, Moo mǝ̀mbaŋnǝ tsǝ̀ ma â wii atsǝ̀’ǝ zǝ̌ zhǝ̀sǝ̌ â zoŋǝ nǝ̀ zhǝ. Bǝ ko yi. A mǝ’ǝ atsǝ̀’ǝ̀ zu mbwo bwo nti’i nkhǝ yi ntam-tamǝ.

14:52 but he left the linen cloth and ran off naked. A mǝ’ǝ atsǝ̀’ǝ̀ zu mbwo bwo nti’i nkhǝ yi ntam-tamǝ.

14:53 They took Jesus to the high priest; and all the chief priests, the elders, and the scribes were assembled. Bǝ loo Yesù nghǝ nǝ zhǝ a mbwo nfò nghwe. Bǝ̀ farà bâ nghwe nǝ bǝ bǎ nghwe ti’ì nyìi nkùŋsǝ̌.

14:54 Peter had followed him at a distance, right into the courtyard of the high priest; and he was sitting with the guards, warming himself at the fire. Bità a zoŋǝ nǝ̀ agha titi lya nyì nkù’u nsaŋbi nfò nghwe; nti’i nunǝ bwo bǝ̀ ngàŋǝ tsǐ ǝdi’i nzô mmu.

14:55 Now the chief priests and the whole council were looking for testimony against Jesus to put him to death; but they found none. Bǝ̀fara bâ nghwe nǝ ǹgaŋǝ nkùŋsǝ̀ nghwe ntsǝmǝ̀ kǝ swà’a anyù mǝ fɛrǝ̀nǝ yi tɛ̂ zwɛrǝ̀ yɛ; la kàkǝ zǝdaŋǝ zǝ.

14:56 For many gave false testimony against him, and their testimony did not agree. Mbǝ̀’ǝma bǝ̀ bâ ghà’àtǝ̌ tswa ntsǝ̀rǝ atyǝ zhǝ la ǝ kàkǝ mbiŋnǝ.

14:57 Some stood up and gave false testimony against him, saying, Ngaŋǝ ntsɛ̀rǝ̀ dzwa tsǝ tiŋǝ ndiŋǝ, ntswa ntsɛ̀rǝ atyǝ zhǝ nswiŋǝ ngǝ,

14:58 “We heard him say, ‘I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and in three days I will build another, not made with hands.'” Bì kǝ̀ zu’u ma a kǝ̀ swiŋǝ ngǝ, ‘Mǝ̀ mbǝ sà’àtǝ̂ ndyâ-nywe nghwe zi ma bǝ ghwurǝ nǝ̀ mbwo li bǔ ghwurǝ zi daŋǝ mǝmǝ̀ njwe tarǝ kàkǝ nǝ̀ mbwo bǝ.’”

14:59 But even on this point their testimony did not agree. Kǎ Zu zi ntsǝ̀rǝ̀ kàkǝ̌ brǝ biŋnǝ bwo dzwa nchyambì

14:60 Then the high priest stood up before them and asked Jesus, “Have you no answer? What is it that they testify against you?” Nfò nghwe ti’i ntiŋǝ ndǝŋǝ nshi bwo mbiŋsǝ Yesù ngǝ, “Ò bikàkǝ nǝ anyu daŋǝ̀ dzwi mǝ̀kwenǝ̀ mbǝ’ǝ mǝnyù mu ma bǝ swiŋǝ mbǝ̀’ǝ̀ wwo?

14:63 Then the high priest tore his clothes and said, “Why do we still need witnesses? Nfò nghwe saa atsǝ̀’ǝ zhi nswiŋǝ ngǝ. “Binǝ bù nswa’â mbuŋkǝ nyù̀.?

14:64 You have heard his blasphemy! What is your decision?” All of them condemned him as deserving death. Bù zu’u ma à dzùŋǝ Nywe! Bù bǝ bwo la?” Bwo swiŋǝ ngǝ à dzwi mǝ̀ kwo nǝ̀.
